Link of the Day: Obama's Top 5 Broken Promises

Can I really trust anything Barrack Obama says? Some may be asking themselves that after so many broken promises. Click here to read an excellent write-up of Obama's Top 5 Broken Promises in a "what he said" and "what he did" format.

Read the article for the facts. But in summary, the BROKEN PROMISES he identifies as the "top 5" in his opinion are:

1) That he does NOT BELIEVE IN BIG GOVERNMENT.
2) He will ensure there are NO MORE EARMARKS.
3) Only TAX INCREASES for the "RICH".
4) No lobbyist / conflist of interest in hi administration.
5) Open & Honest: Will post bills 5 days for public review before he signs them.

Again, be sure to read the article here. For some other interesting reading, you might check out the "Obama Laundry List of Lies" at "Audacity of Hypocracy" site I came upon today.

Obama Repeating Hoover's Blunder That Put "Great" in "Great Depression"

I've always believed (and I still believe) that America will eventually recover because of the hard work, patriotism, ingenuity, and work ethic of the citizens. But it's the "eventually" part that I'm starting to worry about.

It sure seems that Obama's doing everything he can to worsen the situation (really pushing his socialist agenda despite the consequences). For example, despite the Congressional Budget Office's conclusion that his phony stimulus bill would actually hurt the economy more than doing nothing at all, he's thrown money (which we obviously don't have so future generations will be left footing the bill) at thousands of wasteful earmarks, growing bigger government, and other wasteful spending -- literally BILLIONS of dollars that will just add to national debt and do nothing to stimulate the economy.

But I won't go on about that since there's unfortunately not much we can do about the damage that's already "writing on the wall". Today I read an article in which Phil Kerpen provides an excellent perspective on the next Obama plans and how detrimental they could be. We may be destined to repeat our own history. Read his article titled "Obama’s Scary Hoover-Style Tax Hikes" here. Of course, he and the media will probably somehow try to place the blame elsewhere and unfortunately, many citizens may choose to simply consume speeches rather than research the facts and see the reality of what is happening.
